The Scratches on the Windowsill 2 - by Eric

The Scratches on the Windowsill 2
An hour later, the housekeeper drove us to Dink’s house. Dink opened the door,we got in the house. There were a lot of toys like control aircraft and freight car models.
“What? Mrs Davis is dead? I just went to visit her at night on the day before yesterday!” Dink said.
The day before yesterday? Maybe he’s right. Maybe old Mrs Frank remembered the wrong time!
“Where were you from nine o’clock to ten o’clock yesterday?” I asked.
“I drank beer with Charlie and Josh all night.Josh can prove what I said.
“Yesterday, I got drunk and slept a while. When they woke me up, it was half past nine. It will take an hour to get to the villa from here,t hey couldn’t do that,” Charlie said. “And the villa’s only key was in the villa. It was a secret chamber!”
“Charlie is right, the key was there and it was a secret chamber.”
Let me think. What clues do I have? Dink went to the villa last night, but Dink, Josh and Charlie don’t think that’s true, who said the truth? Mr Frank? Or Dink and his friends? I know that it takes an hour from here to the villa. If Dink killed Mrs Davis at nine o’clock,he couldn’t back home at half past nine and woke Charlie up! And there’s a very big scratches on the window sill, something had hit it really hard.
The case is solved! “Dink is the killer!” I shouted.
    “Why?” Dink asked.
“You made Charlie get drunk yesterday, then went to the villa and killed Mrs Davis. When you came back home, you made your clock to half past nine and woke Charlie up.”
“But Josh knows I didn’t do this.”
“I don’t know this first, but what is there an accomplice?”
“But where’s the proof? How can I get in a secret chamber?”
“The proof is the scratches on window sill. After you killed Mrs Davis, you put the key on your remote control aircraft. But it’s dark at night, you remote control aircraft hit the window sill.If one of your toys has the same scatches, that’s the proof.”
Well, the case is solved, I’m a genius!
