Dr. Erin
“He told me
nothing about why he did this and he just pushed me out of the office.” I am
telling Sunny about my experience in Paul’s office, “And he’s really strange
these days.” “Well, I… have… no… idea… about… this…” Sunny answers.
Just then, the
door of our room opened and we see Emmet walked in with a female astronaut and
says to her: “Eh… This is Vincent, and that’s Sunny. They’re both astronauts
from China.” And the he turns to us: “This is Dr. Erin, from the United
States.” After greeting at each other for a while, Erin leaves our room and the
Sunny and I turn to Emmet almost at the same time: “Who’s her? We remember that
all the astronauts and doctors in the United States team are male. So how can
she just suddenly appear in this spaceship?” “No idea,” Emmet answers “but all
in all, she can’t be an alien or something, can she?” Emmet answers as he
walking out of our room.
“Things are
going very strange these days on our spaceship. Captain Paul Gave us so many
rules some days ago, and today ‘Dr. Erin’ suddenly appeared just now. Don't you
think so?” I ask Sunny in an anxious way. “That’s right!” Sunny answers few
times faster than he usually does. So, I’m sure that he’s very surprised
because of the things happening these days just like me.
When I am going
to say something to Sunny again, Emmet and Erin come in our room again. “Erin
is interested in how this huge spaceship works. Would you mind tell her about
these things?” Emmet asks. “But it’s one of the most secret things about this
spaceship in China. And no astronauts in China can tell anyone else about
this!” I say to him seriously. “That’s… right…” Sunny repeats. “Oh, don’t be so
serious. Eh… Well, it doesn’t matter. If you don’t want to tell her about the
spaceship, I’ll tell her. I just know a little less than you two do.” Emmet says
as he turns to Erin and begins talking again: “Look, our spaceship has 40
engines and if they work together, the spaceship can reach the speed that is
about 1/10 of the light does. There’s a very strong shell outside our spaceship
and no one can destroy it… Unless you…” “Stop it! That’s the top secret!” Sunny
and I shouted. “It doesn’t matter.” Emmet seems to be not that serious. This
time, we see a tiny green spot suddenly appears on Erin’s face and it slowly
grows bigger and bigger. It’s just like the one you get when you hurt yourself
inside your skin. When it grows to about 1 square centimeters, we both can’t
control ourselves and asked Erin: “Excuse me, Dr. Erin, what’s that green spot
on your face?” Then, a surprised expression appears on her face and she said

Sunny turns to
me and says to me mournfully: “A man called Michael who works in Nanjing HQ
died with unknown reason.”
