Journey to a “New Earth” (X)

“Pong!” I hear a loud sound comes from the bottom of our spaceship and I’m sure that we have already landed on this mysterious planet. After all the dusts disappear and things outside the window become clear again, I start to look at this planet carefully.

There’s a huge building which is about 450 meters tall in front of us which has some “words” on it. After looking at these “words” for a while, I find that these things are actually some signs, but not words. For example, there’s a sign says “

“That’s… very… easy… to… understand... isn’t… it?” Sunny says after a long time of silence. “So, what does it mean?” I ask. “It’s… very… clear… that… it… means… Immigration… Control… with… a… whole-process… monitor…” Sunny says slowly as usual. “Oh, that’s right. But I hope that this planet is not that bad.” I say anxiously.

I see that there’s lots of buildings which are all more than 500 meters tall except this Immigration Control building. It looks that it’s a very modern planet but to our surprise, we can’t see anyone on the ground and there’s no roads – exactly, there’s nothing except those buildings on the ground.

“That’s strange, isn’t it?” I ask Sunny, who is also looking at those buildings on the ground. Just then, the door opens and Captain Paul is asking us to get out of the spaceship. In despair, Sunny and I go out through the 6-meter-high huge spaceship gate. As soon as we get out of the gate, we smelled a very, very terrible smell.

After entering the tall building, pieces of thin and light glass panes land on our hands with four tiny engines which are placed at each corner of the glass panes. After that, lights appear on my clear glass pane and form a picture: “              ” “Oh, it’s asking us to choose language!” Sunny shouts when he clicks the picture. There’s a list on the screen now and we absolutely choose the picture “” which refers to the Earth. And then “” which refers to North America. Finally, we found the statement “English”. A piece of message appears on the screen: “

Welcome to Nanforrush – the capital planet of the United Empire of Fio Kakery and South Terraby. Here’s something you should know when you first come to our planet…

”
