The Case about a Joke Book - by Eric

The Case about a Joke Book
I am a detective, or I think I am a detective.
One day, I was an excited detective. I went to visit another detective in UK.
After a million hours’ flight, I reached London. I went to the detective, my e-friend Charlie’s house. That’s a really big house, it has a lot of large rooms, but Charlie wasn’t there. “Where is Charlie?” I asked a housekeeper.
“Charlie is very busy, he is solving both case No.19 and case No.20.If you want to visit him, you can help him solve the case No.21.” he said.
“Well, then I’ll solve the case No.21.”
In the afternoon, I went to Charlie’s friend Mike’s house. Mike opened the door, he looked very sad. I went in and asked: “What happened?”
“I lost my joke book named ‘Joke Stew’. I need Charlie”
“I’m Charlie’s friend, I can help you. Where did you lose it?”
“I don’t know. I think I lost it in the restaurant.”
“What happened in the restaurant?”
“I won’t tell you, okay, okay, I’ll tell you, I fell down and everything fluttered around me, I picked them up and rushed out quickly, I was too freak out at the time.”
“Maybe the joke book is still there! Let’s go to the restaurant.”
“No, I won’t go. I hate it there. I don’t want to remember any annoying thing.”
“Okay, goodbye.”
I went to the restaurant. There were a lot of people. I looked at the floor and tried to find the joke book. But I couldn’t find it. While I was looking for the joke book, a waiter came up.
“What are you doing here?” he asked.
“I’m looking for a joke book.”
“You must be that bad boy’s friend; he did a lot of bad things yesterday.” he said angrily.
“Have you seen that joke book? Its name is ‘Joke Stew’.”
“I’ve seen it yesterday, but I don’t know where it is now.”
I went out of the restaurant and said: “Thank you for your help.”
I started thinking: Mike lost the joke book in the restaurant, but it isn’t there now; someone must have picked it up, then who took it and where is it now? I need some other clue.
